Everything everywhere all at once This starts weird Jamie lee Curtis plays an IRS agent. And not really sure yet what is going on but another dimension or universe. Not sure if the characters are playing some VR game but one of them using a fanny pack as a weapon and seriously impressing me. I'd liken it to the matrix meets John Wick in a way Action. Craziness comedy a little cracked They perfectly titled this one! This is a fun ride so far. Maybe what an acid trip was like?!??

A group of friends uncover an otherworldly object in a rural field, which they soon discover holds greater secrets than they could imagine. Luke’s character Will is a paralyzed artist, living at his sister’s . (No answer yet as to how he was paralyzed)A family member of his hanging out with friends sees a meteor fall and goes to inspect. It sort of looks like a dragon egg. At least the outside has a scaly exterior. Id say its likely a seed or spore or so looks at first. Will gets first watch on the space ‘visitor’ It looks like a seed or spore. Its becomes a strong magnet pulling metal tools from various parts of the garage. When Will hand is stuck via his wedding band. He tries to pull his hand off of it, and the ring falls on the floor. He tries to get it and falls to the floor. The thing is telepathic i guess as will gets a headache and we see some backstory out of context and the alien seed attach itself to him. Hes able to move, feel his legs again. One guy has seen too many scifi alien �� movies. Theres gov’t agents looking for it. They’re casing ‘Doyle’s’ apartment. That was different. Finally a non- villainous alien. I liked the story, pacing etc. And what happened at the end. That was a cherry �� on top

Think I saw the original in the theater as a kid. I always wanted the “we came we saw we kicked its ass” button when I was a kid. (Yeah I still have that personality.) Happily this was my ‘Birthday Movie’ for 2021, and I wasn’t disappointed.

The Matrix (Resurrections)
This is not only a review of the new movie but of the franchise as They came out well before I had a blog.
Being as The new Movie was going to be on HBO Max for a limited time, I was lucky enough that they had the first 3 movies as well. So I wanted to rewatch them as I don’t remember much. With the re-watch I know why. Honestly the first movie was great back then but on the re-watch of them… Some of the visual effects are starting to get dated. Some worse than others.

People are able to sell their bodies, and I don’t mean being Hookers. Literally things can cost an arm and a leg, however this is usually done for ‘upgrades’
Ares whose fighting career has been in the dumps sister is arrested for having a gun (They are against the law) which was found in her home but a semi-automatic. So he gets guardianship of her daughters. One little one and a teen however looks old enough to be the mother’s sister!
