I have to say this one was more fun and funnier than the previous. (at least in my opinion, but then I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve seen it.) Great time to release it cause if those faces aren’t scary and Great for Halloween, I don’t know what is. (I swear anyone who comes dressed as either is getting extra candy!) For those faces (teeth at least) they should consider this horror.

I know this movie was not received well by the public and I think it garnered some mild to bad reviews. I was not happy with the last trilogy of movies, (minus Last Jedi, which should have been the only one out of the trilogy they should have made.)
The action in this was a bore and very predictable. Of course the trailers showed too much as well.
I’m writing this shortly after watching it and can only remember Lando’s droid, a sandy place they land, and them playing cards.
I’d hate to admit this but I enjoyed watching Jar Jar in this weekend’s TNT Star Wars marathon more.

The residents of a tiny Texas town are under the thumb of a man called ‘The preacher’ and I don’t mean Dominick Cooper.
The locals start to disappear and are found in the Rio Grande. Liam Hemsworth’s Texas Ranger is called in to get The preacher who killed his father when he was a baby.
Obviously I couldn’t think of anything significant about this and felt uninspired to write about. Wish I skipped it, but then again I’m not one for westerns, I likely had it in the Queue for dad.

Best tricks work on many levels
The easiest ‘preview’ why should I spew a bunch of blather.. when this guy has made my job easy for me?!
We start with a flashback to 1984 New Jersey where a young Dylan is on hand to watch his father is performing a deadly magic trick. I don’t want to give away too much but will say they are all gathered on a bridge.
I like the way they did the opening intro and the scene leading into the laptop.

Of course instead of showing one preview of a trick in the trailers they had to a little too much. For me the end tricks really didn’t top the original movie’s which isn’t that what a sequel is supposed to do? (and isn’t that one reason why the Fast & the Furious series is so popular?) For me I didn’t feel there was enough meat in the movie. Also I didn’t find the tricks to top the original. Thaddeus, isn’t who you really think he is, but then who do we think he is? I wish I could make Caplan’s character disappear.This wasn’t as magically fun as the original for me.
after writing my review I read Entertainment Weekly’s by Leah Greenblatt who finished off her review (and a B grade as well) with “Pay no attention to the plot behind the curtain, Now you see me too says because it barely registers and hardly matters. Just go with it and watch 2 hours…POOF! disappear
