Set in a German town, the disappearance of 2 boys exposes relationships between four families.

A teen boy Erik has been missing for I believe six weeks. One cop thinks he’s run away again, as he’s done before. (Though the parents say it was usually only 2 days then he’d come back)

Jonas is back from a mental sabbatical after seeing his father had hung himself. His friend made up the story he went on an exchange program to France, however is going out with Jonas’ former girlfriend.

Meanwhile we have an affair between his mother and Ulrich (the previously mentioned cop) whose wife is principal of the school.

Their young son who tags along with his older brother when he and the others go to the cave in the woods where there’s supposed to be some stash. They hear a noise from the cave and make a mad dash out of there, someone falls, and someone disappears.

I like the kid’s jumper or pjs whatever that skeleton suit is. Especially being as it glows. I’d love to just stand in our park on Halloween around nightfall in that!

For you Doctor Who fans.. there’s a ‘timey wimey’ problem. One in which is a cycle of every 33 years when the lunar/solar cycle is as it once was.

Is this Priest Noah the one taking kids? and is he in co-hoots with the guy with the big backpack? Wait was that a Limo and WHY is a priest being driven around in it?

MIND BLOWN!!!

Thought Mikkle was Ulrich’s kid but then the Letter Twist (the Letter is everything including a bit of a headache)

The season finale Alpha and Omega

Not surprising who a couple of the people are, yet it still is surprising when its revealed. (Though you may guess just before the reveal)

Aside from the Dark cave, not sure why one would call it dark, aside from the dreary forest.

Keeping track of the characters can get a little if not outrageously confusing between the timelines, families etc and even more so of Who’s bother’s mother’s father’s uncle… (in the last few episodes Jonas mentions family connections…)

Binged last 3 episodes. Enjoyed the show and was just the right amount of episodes, and right pacing for the story. Its fairly easy to follow if you pay attention, so its not that confusing. Its just keeping track of everyone and who is who in what times.

Thankfully I found an infograph (below spoiler line) to at least try to keep the families strait. and even have a couple for whos in what time.

Whoa boy While I liked last season I think I am now lost all over again with who is who (minus a character or 2)

Sadly this season I can only bare watching 1 episode at a time (or even day) I think maybe to me with the reveal last season of everything and everyone.. maybe I thought it was more like a one season deal. I’m not sure if my brain hurts more this season or if it did last season.

I think I’m trying to figure out what’s going on this season. There’s someone new looking into the disappearance etc of last season.
