With the new Candyman movie coming out, I thought I’d share this list with you.
I am not planning on seeing the new movie, even if it says its a sequel. And I don’t see Tony Todd in the cast list as Candyman and well he IS CANDYMAN. You can’t make a sequel without him

But I think his Final Destination Character should have been at leasts #2
With today being the OFFICIAL first day of the Summer (aka the Summer Solstice)
that means it’s reading season for those who are not normally able to get reading unless on the beach tanning, on vacation away (heck depending how long I like to take an extra book or 2 especially if I am half way through what I am currently reading plus depends on how much there is to do, and if in the country how far from a store I am.
When it comes to choosing ANY book, I don’t go by the current best selling or what others are talking about. I will however sometimes cave to a book when it seems all my friends are reading the same one at around the same time. This happened with the Graveyard book. After a time I received a copy as a gift and when reading I found to be a children’s book, however it could be read by anyone and was interesting.
I do agree that those who do not read at all are the ones who ask how to find a book to read. Here’s my way to choose as well as some recommendations (for a few different types of genres.)

With the Season 7 premier coming this Sunday, I thought a rehash of the series and best moments would be a fitting post. I’ve been working on this since the end of season 6 or maybe even during it.

andrew-lincoln-says-rest of walking-dead-season is f-ing-nuts So as far as the 1st episode as we get back from winter hiatus I thought I was going crazy watching it. Scenes (like a still) of a prison tower, another of Woodbury and a photo/painting of a house show, I’m thinking what is going on. I will admit I was a bit comfused, and also had a ‘feeling’ about this episode. The basic breakdown:’For Beth’ they try to get Noah home to the ‘burbs’. The road trip to Atlanta was clear and when they get there, the gate (gated community) is up & apparently locked or boarded from the inside somehow. This could be good or bad. While Rick, Michone, & Glen check around for supplies; Tyreese stays back with Noah I’m sure you can imagine what happens next. I won’t give away the ‘Big Spoiler’ I don’t like people like that, but I will say brace yourself. I wasn’t surprised, but then again it wasn’t Darryl crying at the end (like the previous episode) I swear the easiest way to get me to cry is to see ‘Guy Cry’. (perfect example.. When I was little (think whatever age you were in 5th grade or a year yohnger being I’m born in November) I saw my Dad crying, & didn’t know why & I started to cry & he & my Mom started to laugh cause I didn’t know what I was crying about. Hey It’s my DaD crying. I NEVER saw him Cry before so HELLO! WOuldn’t YOu? Obviosuly if it’s dad crying it’s bad am I right?
The end of this I don’t get as I’ll just say Precautions were taken, but didn’t see the safety ‘net’ take effect or turn for the worse either so a bit confused.. anyone out there that reads the comics that would remember this part (if not made up by the show itself)

Well it’s only about half I think of some general facts
Shane– I couldn’t stand him from the start, he’s one of those people that would give me the bad vibes and was just waiting for him to be taken out in some fashion. I was not so surprised when it came down to him being killed for the betterment of the group. I think if I was with the group the first time I thought he’d get problematic I would have taken him out. Really wish it were Him who Rock ripped out his throat!
Hershel– The farmer and doctor was I think the only character that never got annoying at one time or another like some of them do (even Rick) I thought damn the next cut someone gets is gonna be infect and they’ll die of gang green without him around.
Beth– This I didn’t see coming, and I miss the character, when everyone was down she’d sing for them as entertainment after being the one that saw the negative she had looked on the brighter side and I respect her for that.
Lizzy – I wasn’t surprised with her death, just that the little schizoid wasn’t killed by a ‘harmless’ zombie.
Noah – Good Kid, and went valiently. We hardly knew ya, but thank’s for saving Glenn.

A lot of people say it’s Daryl because of Norman Reedus’ Roadtrip show, but that can easily be filmed during TWD hiatus. Now with the season 7 trailer… more fodder for the flame… Dwight is wearing Daryl’s vest and wasn’t that his bike too? might also be a sign or it might be to just play on our fear of losing our favorite badass of the crew.

If it’s Glen I would be pissed off only for the fact that after the “is he or isn’t he” mid-season cliffhanger I would be like WHY didn’t you just do it then?! (cause that is when I realized Glen was a favorite of mine, I didn’t think I’d ever be upset if something happened to him!) If it’s Maggie, I’m sure there will be (quasi) feminist backlash! Or some religious out rage for her being killed off while pregnant (as though if she gets killed or is just beaten a bit.. it could cause her to miscarry and therefore in a sense be called a ‘forced’ abortion)
I was quite disappointed with this episode,I guess from all the hype for finding out who,would be food for Lucielle. Plus the actors and writers saying “Have the tissues ready, watch with your family, It will just get worse” Honestly I Didn’t get upset, nor did I cry at who got the kiss from Lucille? But then again I KNEW it wasn’t going to be the “big 3” One in which… Rick was shown in the trailer so we knew it wasn’t him. I will say it was (what I call) a minor major and a ‘repeat’ so to speak of someone else that was in serious danger….so I’m yelling Cop-out I will say though there ARE 2 deaths, or if you want to count Rick’s Pride and Dignity then there’s 3 deaths. Another thing is Andrew Lincoln I think had his best performance of the series thus far in this episode.

aside from the season 7 finale being predictable for me I knew those junkers weren’t trustworthy from the moment I saw that face (and hair) but the timing (lets say skip to the last half hour) Shiva’s perfect timing in Finale (I knew nothing was going to happen but then for a millisecond I did think am I wrong are they really going to, or will Negan just cut Rick’s hand off like I hear happens in some way in the comics. Sasha I saw coming especially when we find out where she’s been ‘hiding’ from the beginning of this episode, knew what was going to happen. Honestly until Shiva showed up I was ho-humming it and yelling at Rick for which Glen must have been possessing me cause I called him a Dumbass for letting the Junk Yard Scavengers into Alexandria. (I would have made them the first line, (prove to me I can trust you then I may let you in) while all my crew would play sniper. That whole ‘We take , we don’t bother’ never flew right with me.. because if you think taking something doesn’t bother, well maybe I’ll take your trash heap. I think they want to do like George and Weezey and ‘move on up’ to live in Alexandria instead of living under mounds of trash.

No I won’t mention anything of it. I will say I did not cry, it was good you can say it went out with a blast. Did Daryl Die? NO but it DID ‘open up’ the story for the spin offs. Now I knew there were going to be but for the longest time only heard of the first 2.

Part of this episode gave me an ironic laugh… last night on my birthday I went to see a AEW Full Gear. Sadly CM Punk was not there (but I still had sting) however to get to the point in this, CM Punks theme song By Living Color Cult of Personality (pretty fitting I’d say for such a show that is definitely going to be referenced I’m sure quite a bit in pop culture. (trying to remember if Supernatural ever mentioned it, had too cause Jefferey Dead Morgan was papa Winchester.) Then for Talking dead in the Celebrity fan clips they had punk.
During a trailer for that Bones and all I noticed the guy had a Thundercats shirt on and last night one of the female wrestlers came out with this weird hair orange or yellow… and for as far as I’ve seen first ever had her face painted. Then it clicked when I saw that.. (and no Idea wy) She dressed up to look like Cheetarah of Thundercats
I think I may miss Talking Dead more at this point especially when Khary he’s got a great sense of humor and personality and smile. Then there’s Ross Marquand. (He’s so good at the impersonations) He needs his own show just doing those!
AS for all the different spin-offs, they were give or take those of which I mean the Fear the walking Dead (They had me watching til they killed off Nick. Then Walking Dead Beyond I watched some but was not that interesting. I am hoping the spin offs of our original characters will be better. Norman Reedus just said his show has a different tone (while on Talking Dead)
