As an ancient threat endangers both Vikings and dragons alike on the isle of Berk, the friendship between Hiccup, an inventive Viking, and Toothless, a Night Fury dragon, becomes the key to both species forging a new future together.

From Dean DeBlois, the creative visionary behind the acclaimed HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON trilogy, comes a stunning live-action re-imagining of the film that launched the beloved franchise. With the release of this movie I learned that this is a series of books written by Cressida (cool name) Cowell.

While I enjoyed getting to see Gerard Butler dressed up in the ‘viking’ garb (real Vikings didn’t wear horned helmets) and getting to see the characters truly come to life. There were parts I felt like were missing when it delt with Toothless. Little nuances. I always swore whoever came up with Toothless had to have known my cat Sully (at the time the original came out) as they were both black, had the same personality, cheeky, goofy etc the big soulful eyes and I was quite disappointed I didn’t see those parts in this movie. Sully passed in 2018 and I couldn’t bare to watch the last one for some time. But if the parts are in this that I said Toothless is like Sully, does that mean I’m starting to forget her ways?

Aside from that bit of personal stuff about the movie I believe It was a spot on remake of the animated original, however I think I like the animated one better. I think some things transformed to ‘real life’ better than others in this.

I’ve seen the original black and white movies in the last few years and it was cool. Honestly its my new favorite Universal movie knocking Dracula off its pedestal.

From the trailer, to me it looks Like taudrey trash. Dad wanted to see it and he usually goes to see what I want and usually Likes what I want to see, so I’m here in return.

The title screen is at least a bit spooky, and  has the feel of the classics. Let’s hope the movie is worthy of it.

Trying to sneak out out of the house, i guess I’m the only one that can movie fast and be quiet. The only time you ‘hear me’ moving around dis if the floors creak.

some sort of lab in the house, and its not a chemist’s. Oh no what have they done; I’m guessing some lame brain un-creative idea
