I’m starting this as a preview, and will review as I watch it (either Live on Monday 🌙

I really couldn’t find much more other than the cast, that Queen Latifah is supposed to be the producer and a plot summary on IMDB:

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Atlanta, “Scream” features a brand new cast of characters destined to fall prey to the mysterious killer known as “Ghostface”. The series centers on Deion Elliot, a local star running back whose tragic past comes back to haunt him and threaten his hard-earned plans for his future…and the lives of his unlikely group of friends. which was Written by Scream Wiki.

I know they are supposed to return to the basics of the movies.

Deadfast club / Devils night

We get an opening I’m the style the movies had. Sadly not so classic  too bad they didn’t get a D-lister actor at least for it.

So we have an ominous ‘twins’ candy bar that seems to be stalking the young jock.

A Breakfast Club reference.

And keke Palmer’s character is an uptight everything is a double standard, activist type but I do love her hair if it’s real.and if it us, it just might be longer than mine. (Which when brushed out is around my knee area maybe a little more!) Also like the colors.

What’s with the lack of movie trivia?

Ghostface is blackmailing …Dion who when younger witnessed the murder if his twin brother.

I do plan on re-Watching the first 2 seasons again on Netflix. Much more memorable than this one. With the first 2 hours I’m not impressed. Something feels like it’s missing from the formula.

This time ghostface is going after all the fake people. Avery pretends to be nice when there’s another side to him.

Hey instead of arguing rip the mask off. And she has the nerve to say everyone in horror movies is stupid. So are you girl!

I missed some of the 2nd night and 1hr and 30 minutes of 3rd night. Not even sure if I want to try watching them. They should have done them an hour each either that or just made an actual movie.

‘Ends where it all begins’

This season is nowhere close to being enjoyable as the previous 2 nor as great as (at least) the first movie.

Also didn’t they do the reboot rules in the 4th movie?

The last 45mins  to hour were pretty decent. Not really surprised at who the killer is.  Even the ‘killer monologue’ was pretty good.

Still doesn’t quite feel like scream though, not even series. Deaths are in no way memorable. I still remember a certain one I think it was from second but could have been the end of first.

Another thing is they should have kept things an hour long not this 2 hour marathon if you are going to do that at least just put all 6 hours in a Saturday or Sunday.

Up to you to give a try I don’t think I’d be interested in rewatching it like the movies or the previous 2 seasons.
