Just as Light Turner (really? Seriously?) catches the attention of a pretty girl while he’s sitting on a bench, a storm comes from out of nowhere and a black book drops from the sky. This book has the power to kill anyone whose name is written within the pages. Bonus you get to even choose how. I hope he has some good writing skills.

I wanted to include screenshots of the book from the movie but sadly those didn’t work. This was the best I could find, which I am guessing is from the actual series of books.

Light is still mourning the loss of his mother after her murder. When some bullies start to mess with Mia, he tries to stick up for her getting himself knocked out. After seeing them outside picking on someone else, he uses the book. And with gory detail he gets his wish. So this a supernatural (and extreme) version of a slam book. (are those still a thing? if you don’t know Slam books as far as my experience goes, was made with a composition book, easier to determine if someone ripped out of page. Now it could be one of 2 types. You ask a question in it (not really bad it was sort of a poll type thing) Then there were others who used it to bully, sometimes making it like a bad ‘popularity’ contest and making cruel comments on your peers.(I never came across one of those)

Image result for Death Note movie With the book comes a demon whose name, in a warning in the book looks like RIOT but is pronounced Ryuk. The demon reminds me of some demented looking troll doll. As if Troll doll met living dead doll and had a kid. Maybe adding a mutated version of the Spiked Slipknot Mask to that as well. Williem Deafoe voices it. When Ryuk shsows up, Light I swear screamed like a girl.

I thought the idea of the story was cool. What would you do, how would you use it if you decide to. Would you take out the bullies in school and end it there, or would you try to wipe out crime?

I think I would use it on politicians, that do not do a good job, same with managers who run their stores and restaurants crappy. These would have to be very specifically written in major detail of what you want to fix before the details of their death. In short for a store manager, something like deliveries are not to be left out in the store on the stock carts. because they are a hazard to the customers and keeps them from being able to get to products. More than one cashier on to keep lines down.
