in Nazi Occupied France, Five American soldiers assigned to hold a French Chateau near the end of World War II. This unexpected respite quickly descends into madness when they encounter a supernatural enemy more terrifying than anything seen on the battlefield.
Not a fan of war movies but for some reason dad likes them (even though he was in the Vietnam war) So I put it on being he was in the room and is supposed to have some supernatural element to it as well.
Our troops find their way to a mansion to relieve the last watch, but why are they stationed there? It looks abandoned.
They explore the rooms, one of them finds the office and a big scorch mark on one part of the rug. Did someone not do their job right and get burned for it literally?

Their sniper goes in the Attic to look out, moves a few things around and one of them is the wrong thing.
They find an inverted pentagram and dark magic symbols (possibly from the necronomicon but not sure)
Come night they are experience more odd occurrences.

There’s one part that seems like a residual loop playing out Does this mean they are dead and not alive as they thought?
“Hell is repetition” many cultures believe in a hell where they relive their sins over and over.
Well I wasn’t expecting a twist. But a twist like this has been done before.
