I think this is suppose to be set in the 1980s during the religious backlash on Heavy Metal music, that its ALL satanic (Its Not, are there some bands that do? Yes, are those ‘devil horn’ that I think I heard Ronnie James Dio started hand gestures satanic? Nope That looks like one of the signs of protection Against the evil eye.
Alexis, the ring leader (played by Daddario, yes her brother was in Shadowhunters) her father is some preacher people have heard about. What sort of preacher’s daughter goes to rock concerts (and he lets her) !?!?!? something isn’t right there,,,
As if Daddario’s piercing blue eyes weren’t already unintimidating, Metal Head add to the intimidating look. She goes from Every metall girl to killer in no time, meanwhile instead of final girls we get Final Guy(s).
What do I make of it, meh…
No rush ini watching it, better if you catch it when you have nothing better to day say, staying in a hotel camping, that sort. I will say I did enjoy hearing those songs again.
As far as summoning anything, i don’t recall anything being brought forth.
