I got this because I hate Holiday programming, there’s nothing either nothing on, aside from Holiday specials, or they are for only those who celebrate Christmas (What about those that are Jewish, celebrate Kwanzaa or some other Holiday that happens this time of year? Where are OUR songs, besides of course Adam Sandler’s Hannukah song and tv shows/movies?
The movie takes place in Amsterdam during the Saint Nick celebration.
Saint Nick is a really messed up Santa sort, this one is part Krampus (a few people a pulled up a chimney) part Santa I guess. At some point, his ship burns with him on it and every 23 years Saint Nick comes and hunts not just children but adults as well and one doesn’t have to be bad either.
There were a few amusing parts I enjoyed meanwhile there’s Goert who as I child lost his parents and siblings to ‘good Ol’ (not so), Saint Nick.
So next time You are trying to find something to watch during the holidays, instead of repeats of old specials, Repeats of your shows (if they are even on) It’s Netflix and Chill (or more get cozy) with a spooky and a little gory Holiday story.
