Robert is a haunted doll. The movie is based on the tragic Real Life events which befalls a family after the son received the doll as a gift. Wherever Robert goes, he leaves a path of destruction and death.
I’ve seen the real doll on Ghost Adventurers or one of their spin-off shows. Robert is the most haunted doll in the world,However in the movie of course they didn’t make a replica of what it really looked like, but this one looks to me like a ventriloquist’s dummy. The Real Robert is a much cuter design so i guess that is one reason they didn’t use the original design but don’t people ever think that what is cute and adorable can have a darkness hidden away? I think that is far more scarier.
Stick to the Annabell movies (yet another doll which is not portrayed right, however with this one I can understand as it is or once was a popular type of doll call Raggedy Ann and would likely need permissions and so on. )
This movie was not so memorable. I think i can only remember one death and just that you should not insult the doll.

So I thought this was just another cliche possession movie. Wrong!
This was a ‘blair witch’ hybrid a single camera filmed docu horror as well as times where it seems like a normally filmed movie. Because of her fast progressing disease (she has dementia or alzheimer’s) she is either possessed or just remembering some things.
I watched on Stream Dor a free app I got for my kindle, which you can watch movies free. (Though sometimes in another language with subtitles or in English with some foreign subtitles. I ended up watching a couple of movies (forget which) in Polish, one in which I had already seen before so that was interesting to me.
I don’t find this movie to be worth the time really (unless you are perhaps bored in a hotel room, everything is closed or you are just in the middle of nowhere) I was jsut so tired I jsut really did not want to read and had nothing else to watch that was short. Now I know why Netflix doesn’t have it!
