Don’t Knock twice

From Director Caradog W. James

Knock once to wake her from her bed, twice to raise her from the dead…” So goes a disturbing urban legend involving an Don't Knock Twice Horror Movie Posterabandoned house supposedly inhabited by a vengeful, child-stealing witch. When troubled teen Chloe raps at the door one night, she has no idea the horror she’s about to unleash. Fleeing to the country home of her estranged mother —a recovering addict who’s turned her life around to become a famous artist—Chloe must learn to trust the woman who gave her up years ago in order to stop the bloodthirsty, shape-shifting demon stalking them.”

Stars: Katee Sackhoff, Lucy Boynton

2017

An elderly woman is rumored to be a witch which and kills herself after a boy goes missing.

Rumor spreads more the house being abandoned and all is now an Urban Legend.

Tess (Sackhoff) who had to give her daughter Chloe up. Years go by and Chloe and her boyfriend go to this abandoned house and knocks twice, nothing happens.

While they are video chatting something odd happens, too bad there’s no record button for when you need to walk away. The boyfriend goes missing without a trace.

I think this was supposed to be sort of Baba Yaga tale as I  believe I heard the name come up. There is a Demon and the demon’s servant.

Chloe shows up on mama’s doorstep and a beautiful house (for what we get to see anyway) Tessa is a sculptor and is making one of (or for) a friend who recently had a baby.

Between the title of this and one from another movie, I think I already posted, the titles are a little confusing as due to the title, I thought I had already watched this.

I forget the name of the other movie (NeverKnock) but a little girl knocked on a door on Halloween, and I remember some hay maze and a few other things.  But this is different from that one, and I think the other was better.

I just can’t recall if I saw that movie on tv or a disk from Netflix
