Four teen girls Mia and Sasha are step sisters. Their father plans a shark tour a ‘lass bottom boat, you can look through as if you are watching them from an aquarium
This time around a family Dad, daughter plus his step daughter and wife are having breakfast. He’s telling the girls about the archaeological ‘dig’ he’s involved with. He gives his daughter a shark tooth which is a clue to the activity he has for the 2 girls to bond.
Remember that tour from the first movie? Yeah that’s it, but they skip the tourist trap and goes with the step-sister’s friends for the less beaten path to a swimming hole which turns out to be one of the entrances to the ruins. Which means there’s scuba gear from the archaeological team and so one girl gets the bright idea to go straight in and come right out. When there’s more than 2 people You KNOW that plan is easier said, then done.

No one knows where they are and dad is supposed to be on the other side of the underwater Mayan city. However if they weren’t dumb asses, then we wouldn’t have a movie right!
Their swimming adventure turns to toothy terror when they discover a deadly great white that has adapted to the caves; blind but with heightened senses. See what happens when you don’t follow the plans?
Now with their Air supply dwindling, they navigate the labyrinth of claustrophobic caves and tunnels to find a way out the watery underworld.

Adventurous, like it better than the first movie as there’s more to it and not just the bottom of the ocean and cage. That felt like watching paint dry. This one I enjoyed and was entertaining…
