Red Sparrow

Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremy Irons,Mary-Louise Parker ,Matthias Schoenaerts, Charlotte Rampling

Prima ballerina Dominique (I really liked that Red outfit) has a bad accident during her performance thanks to her partner. Once healed her Uncle has a helps her out with a job; a trial by fire if you will

After the job is done, he sends her to train and one of the famous Red Sparrows. Which has a bad reputation in a way, but that would depend what side you are on!

While the movie was over 2 hours long, it flowed well, unlike the last movie I watched Jane got a gun was an hour and a half and felt 2 hours or longer.

Red Sparrow is much more favorable as I didn’t feel like I wasted my time watching it. I liked the story more and the flip flop of Lawrence’s character, badass to venerable, is she good or bad. How is she playing the American agent?

Even though its a good movie, I’m not sure if its worthy of watching over and over.

Edgerton is a favorite of mine but not sure how I feel about him or the character in this. He ay have co-starred but it felt to me like he was barely there. Too far under the radar, well then maybe his agent did a good job (even though he was made long before)
