When a single mother and 2 sons move into a new home the boy falls prey to the dark legacy of the malacious spirit within called Mr. Boogie.
The first film with Ethan Hawke at least felt a little Sinister, spooky, suspenseful and maybe gave you a little of the creeps; sadly this sequel has none of that even with Shannyn Sossamon as the lead. Another problem I have is that I swear Mr. Boogie stole his mask from the band Slipknot, or its one of those guys in it!
The first film that’s shown to the kid in a morbid way (a sense of humor I have no one else seems to get) is cool … Gator bait is all I’ll say.
Damn that hand has GOT to hurt, but at least the batterer bully got his due (but still not fully paid)
I’ll chalk this one up to a sophomore slump but I do think there will be a 3rd film
